HALIFAX — A bail hearing will continue for a second consecutive day on Tuesday involving a Halifax teenager facing 33 charges including uttering threats.

The 16-year-old boy’s name and all evidence shared at the bail hearing are under a publication ban.

The matter is being heard by Judge Alan Tufts.

He did not make a decision on bail after a full day in youth court.

Halifax police Chief Don MacLean has said police acted quickly on a tip related to a downtown high school, and arrested the boy April 23.

The teenager's charges include illegally possessing a weapon for dangerous purposes, uttering a threat, and promoting hatred against identifiable groups.
