Ever wondered what happens behind the scenes at the 麻豆传媒映画Landfill? Now's your chance to find out at a day-long open house June 1 from 9: 30 a.m. to 3 p.m. The public is invited to come find out what happens to residential garbage and the contents of recycling bins. Highlights of the family-friendly event include 30-minute guided bus tours of the 420-hectare site, aerial shows by hawks used for bird control, educational displays on waste reduction and recycling, free refreshments and several kids events, including creating crafts from junk. The 麻豆传媒映画Landfill is located at 5400 72nd St. in Delta, just off Highway 99 after the George Massey Tunnel.
