Air Canada has announced the top 10 winners for Best New Restaurants in Canada and secured fourth place, the only Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³»restaurant to make the top 10. First place went to Battuto in Quebec City.

Longtail Kitchen has launched its new fall menu with an expanded pan-Asian footprint. In addition to the popular Thai street food-style dishes, look for new items like the fish balls with sweet chili, fried squid with Yeo’s sauce, Filipino Bicol Express, Vietnamese Shaking Beef Tenderloin, daily noodle soup, and more.
On Thursday, Nov. 2, Cin Cin will hold its annual mushroom and truffle dinner. Courses will be paired with La Spinette wines from Italy’s Piedmont region. The five-course dinner, plus canapé reception, includes duck liver parfait with Australian truffle, ravioli of ricotta and parmesan with white alba truffle, lamb rack with black truffle, rib eye with potato, prosciutto and black truffle, a cheese course and desserts. Tickets $195 per person, including wine pairings.
On Thursday, Nov. 9, will host a collaborative chef dinner with Todd Perrin of Mallard Cottage. Campagnolo chef Robert Belcham, along with Perrin, will serve a multi-course meal that includes Campagnolo’s dry-aged Berkshire ham, East Coast cod cheek escabeche, charcoal-grilled pork loin, and more. Proceeds benefit Project Chef as part of the 2017 EAT! Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³»festival. Tickets are $135 plus tax, including dinner and wine pairings, and can be purchased through the EAT! website.
On Friday, Nov. 17, Mirabel Vineyards in Kelowna is teaming up with Sidecut at the Four Seasons in Whistler to welcome Nobu Lana’i’s chef Marlowe Lawrenko for a collaborative wine dinner. This longtable dinner is part of Whistler’s Cornucopia festival. Tickets $185 per person and available through the Cornucopia site.
