Noodlebox Canada is donating 50 per cent of proceeds taken from all its locations on Wednesday, Sept. 20 to Canadian charities. While each location will choose an individual charity beneficiary, the majority will be donated to the Canadian Mental Health Association. Noodlebox has supported the CMHA since 2014 and has raised over $25,000 to date.
On Monday, Sept. 25 at 6:30 p.m., Royal Dinette and That’s Life are hosting an evening of food, sake, wine and “everything fine.†That’s Life is a Canadian-owned premium wine and sake importer that focuses on natural and organic producers. Each of the six courses from Royal Dinette chef Alden Ong will be paired with both a sake and a wine, sparkling wine, or sherry. Guests will also have the chance to meet and speak with sake brewers and winemakers, including Kazunari Shata from Tengumai, Munetaka Nakashima from Kozaemon, and Sato Mayumi from Hakkaisan.
