Mark your calendars and lay out your finest philanthropic duds, because – one of the can’t-miss culinary events of the season – is coming up on Wednesday.

Now in its 14th year, Passions is a benefit for Vancouver's , which provides compassionate care for people living with HIV. It’s a dazzling affair, as more than 20 of the city’s top restaurants and chefs dish out small bites grazing-style, backed by festive cocktail stations and open wine service courtesy of New Zealand Wines.

Highlights include creations from award-winning bartender Sabrine Dhaliwal as well as tastings from Hawksworth, Maenam, Cin Cin, Cioppino’s Mediterranean Grill and the Fairmont Pacific Rim's buzz-worthy Botanist.

The evening is also known for its incredible silent and live auctions, this year hosted by veteran auctioneer and emcee David C. Jones and Global News anchor Sophie Lui.

It’s clearly a winning combination, as Passions has raised more than $1.4M for HIV/AIDS care since it launched in 2004.

Tickets start at $225, and a tax receipt for a portion of the ticket price will be provided. Act now to mix and mingle for a truly fabulous cause.Ìý
