The complete guide to food trucks at Street Food City VII

The seventh annual event is the cheap and cheerful arm of Dine Out Vancouver
Street Food City
More than 20 food trucks will take part in the seventh annual Street Food City festival at the Â鶹´«Ă˝Ół»Art Gallery beginning Jan. 22.

Whether your tastes run to Reef Runner's famous jerk chicken or Tacofino’s codfish taco with chipotle mayo and salsa fresco or one of Mr. Arancino’s hearty Sicilian risotto balls, you’ll be in food truck heaven at the seventh annual event.

This more casual arm of the popular takes place in the Â鶹´«Ă˝Ół»Art Gallery’s newly renovated plaza Jan. 22 to 28 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. weekdays and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekends. The Dine Out festival began in 2001, when a group of food and wine enthusiasts got together with the team at Tourism Â鶹´«Ă˝Ół»and pitched the idea of a fixed-price menu deal to get Vancouverites out and into restaurants during a normally slow time of the year. At the time, 57 restaurants jumped on board and since then Dine Out Â鶹´«Ă˝Ół»Festival has grown into Canada’s largest food and drink festival.

More than 20 food trucks will rotate throughout the week so if comfort food is your thing, make sure to visit Old Country Pierogi. Craving a healthy sweet? In addition to its rib-sticking savoury pies, Aussie Pie Guy offers a traditional Anzac cookie made with rolled oats, coconut and golden syrup.
