Thomas Haas has launched a collection of pumpkin desserts, including pumpkin cake with amaretto bavarois, crunchy caramelized pumpkin seed croquant and roasted pumpkin mousse ($36); classic pumpkin pie with Chantilly cream and butter crust or topped with caramelized apple ($36); pumpkin-shaped sugar cookies ($3.50); and pumpkin-shaped chocolate lollipops.

In other sweet news, Chez Christophe Chocolaterie Patisserie is also celebrating fall with a pumpkin tonka latte ($5.50) made with housemade pumpkin syrup and grated tonka bean; Thanksgiving bark ($11.95/100g) of Zephyr caramel chocolate, roasted spiced hazelnuts, and pumpkin; and, pumpkin tart with roasted pumpkin, maple bavarois, cinnamon and caramel white chocolate cream, and hazelnut sponge. Individual size $6.50, larger sizes starting at $25.95.

Market by Jean-Georges will be offering a special three-course Thanksgiving menu from Friday, Oct. 6 to Monday, Oct. 9, for $65 per person. The menu includes an amuse bouche of beet panna cotta, followed by celeriac velouté with seared scallop, green apple, and black truffle crème fraîche. Main is roasted turkey breast with pomme purée, sage stuffing, glazed carrots, and cranberries. Dessert is pumpkin pie with pumpkin spice ice cream.

Work off your Thanksgiving feast with Milano Coffee’s Yoga For Coffee Lovers, taking place Oct. 14 at 7 a.m. at the roasting hub in Mount Pleasant. 鶹ýӳyoga professional Kent Brun, producer of The Kent Brun Podcast: Professionals Talking Yoga, will lead a one-hour alignment based vinyasa yoga class overlooking the park, followed by an “award-winning espresso-based drink of your choice.” Tickets $15 at.

Cibo Trattoria will also be offering a special Thanksgiving dinner from Oct. 6-9. The three-course prix fixe meal is $38 per person and includes sunchoke puree or farro salad to start, local free-range turkey with sausage stuffing or butternut squash tortelloni with crispy sage and pecorino, and pumpkin cheesecake for dessert.

On Sunday, Oct. 8 and Monday, Oct. 9, Boulevard Kitchen and Oyster Bar will offer a three-course Thanksgiving dinner for $68 per person, plus tax and gratuity. Start with sweet pumpkin bisque with sage, cinnamon and roasted apples, followed by slow-roasted turkey with hazelnut brioche and chestnut stuffing, whipped potatoes, caramelized root vegetables, bacon Brussels sprouts, cranberry sauce, and giblet madeira gravy. Dessert is pear tarte tatin with caramelized pear and cinnamon ice cream. Call 604-642-2900.

On Sunday, Oct. 8,The Cascade Roomwill offer a three-course Thanksgiving dinner for $35 per person, with seatings available at 5 p.m., 7 p.m. and 9p.m. Start with fire-roasted tomato soup or apple and goat cheese salad. Main is free-range turkey with sage and onion stuffing, bacon-wrapped sausage, candied yams, mashed potato, Brussels sprouts, turkey gravy, and cranberry sauce. Vegetarian option features roasted acorn squash, sage and onion stuffing, glazed carrots, mashed potato, candied yams, Brussels sprouts, porcini gravy and cranberry sauce. Dessert is pumpkin tart with Chantilly cream. A special child-sized meal for those under 12 will be available for $25.

On Monday, Oct. 12, Joe Fortes will offer a Thanksgiving turkey dinner with turkey breast, mashed potatoes, stuffing, cranberry sauce and turkey gravy, for $34.95. Make it a three-course meal with squash bisque and pumpkin pie for $46.95.
