Mixed messages abounded Saturday as the Occupy Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»protest got underway at the Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»Art Gallery. Of the 4,000-plus who turned out for the anti-corporate movement sweeping cities across the globe, signs called for action around everything from homelessness to labour movements to a vague dissatisfaction with the status quo (left). With hundreds still camped out in the public square and vowing to stay put into December, time will tell if Occupy Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»will ultimately turn into something other than a photo op.
