The Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³»Canadians improved to eight wins and two losses on the season and over-ran the Tri City Dust Devils in a five-game series at Nat Bailey Stadium.
The Cs dropped the first game but won the next four and outscored the visiting Dust Devils 17-12 to sit at the top of the Northwest League standings.
On Friday afternoon, one run was enough to secure victory before the game was called in the seventh inning when the clouds burst and the rain didnt let up. Dalton Pompey nailed a triple and was brought in to score by Nick Baligod. The Cs won 1-0.
Canadians starter Ben White earned his first win on the season and kept Tri-City scoreless in six innings.
In the fourth meeting Saturday evening, the Canadians downed the Dust Devils 7-4. Balbino Fuenmayor came up big once again and smacked his third home run of the short season and brought in four runners to score to bump his at-bat percentage to .444. Ian Parmley drew three walks and each outing was brought in to score.
In their last game of the series Sunday afternoon, the Cs rallied in extra innings to win 3-2.
The drama followed eight innings of low-scoring baseball. After dropping two runs to Tri-City, the Cs rallied in the bottom of the ninth inning. With bases loaded, Jorge Flores ground the ball and scored Dalton Pompey to even the game 2-2.
In the 10th, Tri-City reliever Josh Hungerman gave up a single to Baligod who then made the visiting pitcher pay for unruly throws. On wild pitches, Baligod stole second, then third and finally home to give the Cs a 3-2 edge.

The Canadians travelled yesterday to Everett, WA for a three-game series against the AquaSox.
The Cs return to Nat Bailey Thursday for a six-game series against Eugene Emeralds.
