Re: "Central Park-Skate and destroy," May 9.
I am eight-years-old and I live close to the skate park at Mount Pleasant and I go there every day. The skaters are very nice and sometimes teach me stuff. One time, one of the skaters gave me skate boarding stickers and gave my friend some wheels for his skateboard. I don't see people littering. One day I saw one of the skaters cleaning up all the garbage around the park. My friends skate there with me and we don't have problems with the older skaters. We all share the park.
I am very happy to have the skate park so close to my house.
