Re: "12th and Cambie," Aug. 9. Really? I can think of a reason why bike lanes and taxes were the least of respondents' concerns (aside from who commissioned the question, how it was framed, and the possible bias of the online, nonprobability small sample).
Fifty-two per cent of Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³»households are renting and haven't seen a city tax notice for years.
Hence the discrepancy between respondent concern about the cost of living and their insouciance about taxes.
