Reader's welfare letter verges on 'hate'

Re: "Thin streets idea hits hardworking homeowners," Letters, Aug. 15.

I think it was inappropriate for you to have printed this letter from Rick Angus. At best it is judgmental, mean and discriminating against "undeserving social welfare recipients." At worst it is verging on "hate."
