Re: "City councillor warns of looming commuter crunch," Sept. 28.
Isn't ironic how TransLink is losing money because people are driving less among other things? Did TransLink seriously expect gas tax to provide a steady income over the next so many years? Increase the gas tax and people are going to adapt by taking transit, duh, and yes, using more fuel-efficient vehicles. I don't know how TransLink is going to dig themselves out of this hole, but they've dug a pretty deep one.
