How about a rooftop party to make reading more fun?
Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»Public Library (VPL) is inviting avid bookworms and those looking for a fun read to it's first .
Guests will gather at one of the city's most photogenic rooftops for live music, B.C.-made wine and beer, Syrian snacks and a big book swap.
With only 200 spots available, proceeds from the first event of the library's new Rooftop series will go towards new soundproof work pods at VPL branches.
Those who can't make the first party can join other book swaps on August 18 and September 8.
