Shred Kelly is among the bands playing the Khatsahlano Street Party on July 5 in Vancouver's Kitsilano neighbourhood.

Now in its 14th year, the is returning to West 4th Avenue in Vancouver's trendy Kitsilano neighbourhood on July 6.

With just over a month to go, organizers have released the lineup with along the 10-block festival.

Headlining this year's musical shows is Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»psychedelic band Meltt and Missy D, a local bilingual rapper and singer.

The festival features lots of Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»and B.C. acts, including Joe Keithley doing a solo set; he's also known as "Joey Shithead" from legendary Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»punk band D.O.A. or .

Other bands taking the stage include Fernie folk-rockers Shred Kelly, longtime Vancouver-based roots rockers The Matinee, and sister act Vox Rea.

"This year’s lineup features an incredible mix of local favourites and up-and-coming artists performing across multiple stages," reads the Khatsahlano website.

Those favourites and artists will be spread across seven stages (and one kids stage) between MacDonald and Burrard streets on West Fourth Avenue, which will be closed for the festival.

Billed as the "largest free music and arts festival" in Vancouver, the 2025 edition is promising a "camp" theme (as in sleep-away camps).

"From s’mores and scavenger hunts to sing-alongs and camp games, Camp Khats promises a nature-inspired urban escape filled with community connection."

While the music side has been set, organizers are still taking applications for other participants, including vendors and food businesses.

Khatsahlano gets its name from August Jack Khahtsahlano, a Squamish Elder who was born in a village that used to stand where Stanley Park is now. Kitsilano, the current name of the neighbourhood where the street festival takes place, is an Anglicization of his name.

Khahtsahlano was an influential figure in Vancouver's early days and provided a great deal of information about the local history from before the area was colonized.
