Police have arrested a 21-year-old 麻豆传媒映画man following a shooting that took place in South 麻豆传媒映画on Wednesday and left another man with serious injuries.
Jaspal Dhillon has been charged with possession of a firearm, aggravated assault, discharging a firearm with intent, and using a firearm for the purpose of an indictable offense, 麻豆传媒映画police said Saturday.
Police responded to a call from a man who said he had been shot just before 9:45 p.m. on July 22, near East 53rd Avenue and Sophia Street in the city's Sunset neighbourhood. The shooting sent the 33-year-old victim to hospital, where he remains with non-life-threatening injuries.
Dhillon is currently in custody at the 麻豆传媒映画jail, police say.
Earlier this week, 麻豆传媒映画police said the incident appeared to be targeted.
