While there's growing support for Metro Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³»amalgamating there are some demographics that aren't as excited.
In a poll Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³»is Awesome ran last week, readers voted two-to-one against the idea of amalgamating with the surrounding municipalities. This runs counter to a recent poll by Research Co. done with likely voters in the upcoming municipal election.
V.I.A. polled 683 readers and asked the question: Would you support the amalgamation of Metro Vancouver?
The poll ran from 6/19/2022 to 6/23/2022. Of the 683 votes, we can determine that 384 are from within the community. The full results are as follows:
Results are based on an online study of adult Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³» readers that are located in Vancouver. The margin of error - which measures sample variability - is +/- 3.75%, 19 times out of 20.
