The Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³»Chamber Choir is teaming up with Bard on the Beach founder and artistic director, Christopher Gaze, who will bring Shakespeare’s iconic words to life.
With beautiful music by Ralph Vaughan Williams and Frank Martin, all paired with Shakespeare’s timeless text, this is a performance you absolutely have to see.
“Shakespeare's texts are so musical in themselves,” says Artistic Director Kari Turunen, “that composers, no matter when they lived or their style, seem to feed off the beauty of the language. For people who know Shakespeare well, the music adds new meaning and feeling to the words. For those less familiar, this is a great way to discover some of the most beautiful writing in English.”
