Flights from Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»to Paris could cost you several hundred dollars less at select times this year, even on some flights departing soon.
Travellers looking to visit the City of Light on a one-way ticket have select options for under $400 departing this spring (in late May and early June). However, these itineraries involve lengthy stopovers (think 30-hour travel days).
Instead, Metro Vancouverites can find tickets departing in October through December for just over $400 return that don't involve extended stays en route to the French capital.
For instance, a one-way WestJet flight departing Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»International Airport (YVR) for Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG) on Wednesday, Oct. 22, costs $421 when booked through a third-party. The itinerary includes a stop in Kelowna for two hours and fifteen minutes and one in Calgary for just shy of five hours (see slides two and three).
Travellers booking directly with WestJet pay only slightly more at $437.
Itineraries that only involve one stopover are also available at a low price in the fall, starting at $437 through a third-party supplier.
Round-trip flights to Paris from Vancouver
Return trips to Paris are also a bargain this spring before the busy summer travel season, thanks to Condor's low-cost and more convenient options.
Unlike some of the low-cost options in the fall, Condor's cheapest flights only involve one stop in the airline's hub city of Frankfurt, Germany.
For example, a flight from Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»to Paris departing on Wednesday, June 4 and returning on Wednesday, June 18 costs $782 through third-party supplier GoToGate. The itinerary includes a stopover for under two-and-a-half hours on the outbound journey and four hours and fifteen minutes on the return (both are in Frankfurt) (see slides four and five).
The price of this flight is considered "low" for economy or $885 cheaper than usual, according to Google Flights.
Tickets booked directly through Condor cost $820.
Travellers can find several options at this price in May and through the first two weeks of June before prices soar during the summer.
Flight prices may change quickly based on seat availability. If you want to secure a price, book the ticket right away (some airlines and travel suppliers allow you to hold seats, although you will need to confirm). Prices shown in this travel deal were available at the time of writing and may not be available when you look for them.
