Fans of the legendary guitarist and rock star Jack White may have seen him play two nights in Vancouver, but a few lucky local shop employees got to meet the man.
White and his band played a on May 22 and 23. Since he was in town, he stopped by Rufus Guitar Shop on Commercial Drive, along with some of Big Sugar, the Canadian band .
At the shop, the group snapped a photo, which the store shared on social media.
"Enjoy the Davoli and the Ace Tone Space Echo!" reads a social media post from Rufus Guitar Shop.
In a comment on Instagram, the shop confirmed White bought a guitar while in the shop; there's a brand of guitars called Davoli. Ace Tone was a Japanese company from the 1960s and 70s that made a variety of gear, from effects pedals to drum machines.
White didn't stay long in Vancouver; his No Name Tour had one more date after his shows here, on May 24 in Oregon.
