One of the most popular comedy podcasts is coming to Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»this summer.
is, essentially, a film criticism podcast reviewing some of the worst films made and exploring how they ended up on the silver screen. But it's run by veteran Hollywood comedians.
It's hosted by three actors with substantial experience in comedy: June Dianne Raphael (Grace and Frankie, NTSF:SD:SUV::), Paul Scheer (The League), and Jason Mantzoukas (The League, Brooklyn 99). The three all regularly guest-star on shows as well, and Mantzoukas is on the current season of Taskmaster.
To date has released more than 350 episodes. Often, the shows feature guests who share their own thoughts on the movie. Live shows usually give the audience a chance to offer insight as well.
Since debuting in 2010, the show has often made top 10 lists for comedy podcasts and won several awards, including a Webby.
On July 12, they'll be bringing the show to Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»for one night at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre.
During the live event, they will discuss Driven, the 2001 Sylvester Stallone race car film. Driven co-stars Burt Reynolds, Til Schweiger, and Kip Pardue. Several racing stars also make cameos in the film, including Mario Andretti, Jacques Villeneuve, and Juan Pablo Montoya.
