Botanist

One of Vancouver's most spectacular additions to the dining scene this year, Botanist offers a daily with their beautiful baked goods, egg dishes, healthy options, and the requisite avocado toast, but on the weekends they add on hearty extended non-breakfasty options like a decadent Wagyu burger, squid ink tempura fish and chips, and their gorgeous beef tartar.

It's always a fun time at the new-ish Chickpea restaurant on Main Street, where the four-wheeled Middle Eastern eatery set up shop with their expanded menu of plant-based eats. For breakfast they're serving up innovative border-bending dishes like Latkes in a Pita and Malawach (stuffed savoury puffed pancakes).

The eclectic buffet brunch at H2 at the Westin Bayshore includes everything from French Toast made on the spot to dim sum, DIY congee, rotisserie chicken, Indian curries, hot and cold breakfast items, fresh fruit, pastries, charcuterie, and an epic grain and veggie bowl building station. During November if you hit up their "Haul it Home" offer.

Have you checked out this small cafe on Broadway near Granville yet? They're all about elegant plates of comforting breakfast fare, made with high quality ingredients. They've been open just over a year now, and have a great selection of brunch dishes, from the Hot Smoked Trout Benedict to a Fried Chicken Omelette, and they've got breakfast cocktails, too.

Head to North Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»to experience Cacao 70's first Vancouver-area Sweet House concept, which opened up last month. They have a full brunch menu that runs the gamut from savoury crepes and a "Hangover Omelette" to their signature waffles--often with a sweet chocolately twist.
