For the past few weeks, Main Street's Hero's Welcome has housed a popular pop-up featuring fresh baked goods and beverages.
Now, however, the pop-up has settled in, and has even settled on a name: Banister Provisions.
Banister is the project of restaurateurs Monroe Webb and Myra Maston, and it is making itself at home along the side of Hero's Welcome's 3917 Main St Tudor-inspired exterior.
The charming take-out window features a menu of freshly brewed coffee, tea, house-made pastries, bagels, sandwiches, and a variety of grab-and-go drinks.
You'll also find a boutique retail section featuring curated provisions such as fresh-baked bread, in-house made dips, olives, pickled eggs, and other locally sourced goods, according to a media release.
“The idea for Banister was inspired by the simplicity and charm of New York-style coffee carts," said Webb in the Banister Provisions announcement. "We aim to be a helping hand, whether your day is just starting or winding down. With Hero’s Welcome as our anchor and a hub of community, we wanted Banister Provisions to bring a daytime extension of that spirit."

Banister Provisions is open Friday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
