Smoke's Poutinerie is making a stop in Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³»next week and free poutine is on the menu.
The eatery's food truck is making a stop in Surrey on July 27 and Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³»on July 28 on its "Smoke's Poutinerie Rock N' Roll Gravy Train" tour to hand out free poutine as a thank you to customers who "stuck by" during the pandemic.
The location of its Metro Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³»"quick pop up stops" will be disclosed closer to the date. Check on Instagram for details.
Organizers originally told the Richmond News that a similar event was taking place in Richmond and Coquitlam, but later corrected that the appearances in those cities would not be open to the public.
Besides the iconic Canadian snack, there will be cheese curd sampling stations and attendees will have a chance to win prizes.
The poutine "train" will kick off its road trip on July 23 from St. John's in Newfoundland and will hit up 38 cities in 36 days.
