Sweet Treat #39: Pistachio donuts from Cartems
We are suckers for pistachio. Similar to butterscotch, pistachio has the delectable simplicity of a vanilla, chocolate or caramel, but for some reason, it still isn't a staple dessert flavour. Fortunately, Cartems Donuts has introduced a seasonal pistachio donut for the month of November. Its green pistachio glaze is light, delicious and refreshing, the perfect pair to the cake-style donut base. The addition of real pistachios adds another burst of real pistachio flavour while also giving the donut a nice crunch. Plus, you can't beat the colour.
