I was lucky enough to have lunch with some very special people earlier today at my favorite ramen spot, Motomachi Shokudo .

The cat got out of the bag before I could get my post about New Town Bakery up. I was super glad to see that Jef Choy mentioned another bakery …’cuz I’ve been planning a post about my favourite Chinatown secret spot for awhile.

Man I love these places, there're every where in East Van and when you just need something to tide you over between meals they are the place. Also if you need a meal, for five bucks you can eat like 4 items....

I was recently made aware of an awesome story brewing in the mountains of Pemberton.

Last Fall Jon Coleman shared a PHOTO of the Strawberry cement truck with you, today I got an e-mail from Jenn Hicks who spotted the latest edition to the rolling fruits and veggies squad: The Asparagus Truck! The elastic band is a nice touch, right?

Summertime is all about slurpees , but man, once fall hits, it's time to hit up one of the hundreds of coffee shops in Vancouver. Believe it or not, not everyone's a coffee drinker yep....it's not like I said beer drinker.

BEWARE! The lady that I warned you about in THIS post yesterday appears to have a male accomplice who is working the Kingsway corridor in the van pictured below, selling Chilliwack corn at 6 cobs for 4 dollars.

BEWARE! This lady will be posted up all weekend on Main Street around 19th Avenue selling Chilliwack corn at 6 cobs for 4 dollars. The corn is of the Peaches and Cream variety, she is armed with many bags of it and it is ridiculously sweet and juicy.

It seemed just like yesterday SR posted this , which to us marked the end of an era for the best burger place on Kingsway....ever.

Better question...what don't they deep fry at the PNE? The cornucopia of food which the PNE offers is second to none, it will mess you up good.
