If you've ever attempted to do the Grouse Grind in North Vancouver, you know it can be challenging.
It's the equivalent of 2,830 stairs.
Now, imagine doing the climb 21 times — in a single day.
That's exactly what Kelowna's Sean Green did recently, breaking the previous record of 19 ascents up the mountain.
It was all part of the annual Multi Ground Grind Challenge, held June 20. This year's event raised more than $46,000 in support of North Shore Rescue.

Meanwhile, a B.C. woman went viral after posting a tongue-in-cheek poster for her garage sale. It's an event she's putting on this weekend to declutter her life after her divorce.
But unlike the usual items you'd find at a garage sale (picture frames, silverware, etc.), this bargain hunter's dream will have:
- Crockpot: still loyal, still hot - can't say the same for him!
- Mugs that say "Live Laugh Love" (they lied)
- Candles that smell like coping mechanisms
"It's 25 years of my life I'm selling, but you got to laugh about it," she told .
Lastly, B.C.'s Jesse Lamb is to raise funds for a men's rehabilitation centre in qathet.
Lamb decided to take on cycling more than 4,000 kilometres from Newfoundland to Tofino, for a few reasons.
"This trip is the last piece of my recovery puzzle that I cannot seem to fix," said Lamb, who accessed the qathet program himself. "I have some demons to work through; I'm stuck emotionally due to past trauma."
