An expansive double rainbow arched over Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»on Tuesday, May 20.
Metro Vancouverites may have to contend with more rainfall than the average city dweller, but stormy spring weather allows rainbows to manifest (pots of gold at the end of them aren't promised).
Following light showers on Tuesday evening after 7 p.m., the sun began shining, and numerous locals spotted the colourful natural phenomenon in the sky.

Metro Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»weather forecast
Locals may have more opportunities to spot another rainbow in the coming days.
Although some temperatures could climb up to 24 C over the weekend, some "turbulent spring weather" with wetter, cooler periods should be expected between drier, sunnier days, Environment Canada meteorologist Lisa Erven told V.I.A. in a previous interview.
Thursday is expected to be mainly sunny with the daytime high climbing to seasonal (18 C). A system is expected to bring showers on Friday, bringing temperatures down several degrees.
