Stick a candle in the spumoni, because is turning one. The popular elevated "red sauce" Italian joint in the old Nick's spot might be a year young, but they are tapping into their deep local roots for a month-long throwback-style celebration.
Pepino's is spending July decked out with a festive retro look, including good old fashioned red-checkered tablecloths.

The dinner menu is also beefed up with some July-only specials, each aimed at feeding some serious before-our-time nostalgia with dishes like Veal Scallopini alla Boccaiola and Steak Oscar (steak with aspargus and Bearnaise sauce). They're even teasing the return of Nick's famous lasagna. Mamma mia!

In addition to the food and drink specials, Pepino's will of course have their regular menu of pastas, meaty mains, salads, bread, and more.
Pepino's Spaghetti House is located at 631 Commercial Drive, and dinner is served nightly from 5 p.m.
