To the editor: The real reason for the newest flavour of taxation policies-road pricing to further fund a decrepit regional transit authority-can be laid squarely at the feet of Sky-Train light metro and the B.C.

To the editor: I applaud the people protesting in front of restaurants that serve shark fin soup. Not only are the numbers of sharks in the ocean in serious decline, the method of harvesting them is atrocious.

Do you know when the B.C. legislature or the federal parliament is actually in session? Do you follow the goings-on in those institutions? I suspect most British Columbians (and fellow Canadians) fall into the I dont care category.

To the editor: Every time we walk Kits Beach, we are amazed at how many new parents and their kids are enjoying that "state of the art" Kitsilano Beach playground. It's a great place for the neighbourhood to meet and discuss their young family joys.
