NDP leader Adrian Dix did something last week that is completely out of character for a B.C. political leader. He actually went out of his way to speak glowingly of his two rivals, Premier Christy Clark and B.C. Conservative leader John Cummins.

Bylaws help dim city noise, drunkenness

To the editor: Re: "Pubic disorder in Gastown on the increase, says VPD," Sept. 21. I, for one, agree with all the bylaws as they have evolved from public complaints to mayors and city councils. They are not ridiculous, nor are they oppressive.
