Can wheat really explain my muffin top?

NDP leader Adrian Dix did something last week that is completely out of character for a B.C. political leader. He actually went out of his way to speak glowingly of his two rivals, Premier Christy Clark and B.C. Conservative leader John Cummins.

The Mayors Task Force on Affordable Housing offers nothing we didnt see in the interim report. But it does add some meat to the bones and focuses more tightly on proposed solutions to deal with a critical problem in our city.

Re: Hands off that helmet, Rants, Sept. 20: Commendable but... stupid.

To the editor: Re: "Pubic disorder in Gastown on the increase, says VPD," Sept. 21. I, for one, agree with all the bylaws as they have evolved from public complaints to mayors and city councils. They are not ridiculous, nor are they oppressive.
