Sweet Treat #12: Milkshakes at Fable Diner
If you don’t indulge in something sweet while eating at a diner, you’re basically depriving yourself of the wonderful feeling you get while eating something delicious in the perfect setting. Fable’s latest venture, the Fable Diner in Mt Pleasant, is serving up plenty of classic diner treats, but we’re all about the milkshakes. Shakes at Fable are made with Birchwood Dairy ice cream from Abbotsford and come with crunchy cereal toppings (texture = YUM). We recommend the blueberry and vanilla milkshake or the crowd favourite, banana nutella. Make sure to ask your server about the restaurant’s full milkshake and dessert program, because it's always changing.
